Andrew James Forwarding was formed in 2007 targeting two quite radically different market segments due to the experience of the founding partners.  Our first target market was door to door shipments from India to the UK for palletised cargo and the second was project cargo shipments to and from the EU regions to the rest of the world. Our initial objective was to offer a high quality service for first time shippers, helping to make the first few shipments run as easy as possible so as they grow the number of shipments would increase as well.

Over the proceeding years we have expanded our range of services to offer both shippers and buyers the ability to handle all their requirements. Originally if clients had shipments which targetted markets we normally  did not deal with we gave recommendations to use other freight forwarders. Today we now handle all enquires directly so shippers and consignees have one point of contact at all time.

We now have a clients ranging from small ones shipping a couple of pallets each year to the largest which ships over 2000 containers each year. We still aim to offer the smaller shippers a high quality shipment, and provide the additional assistance allowing the shipments to run smoothly. For clients which are simply need a broker service we offer economical services without any of the additional assistance required. Ideal for experience shippers and buyers who know what they need to book and have all the relevant customs tariffs ready for export and import clearances.
